Delta will be Super Rack Global¡¦s agent / distributor in the Taiwan territory effective November 1st, 2008.

Unlike a typical 8¡¦½¡¨ flat rack container, the corner post of Super Rack may be extended in 1¡¦increments, up to 13¡¦½¡¨ for over-height cargo. The implementation of the extendable corner post comes with great benefits. One handling benefit, when compared to a flat rack container, is that Super Rack does not require any wires, special gear, man power, or additional work time to lift since the posts can extend over the cargo itself. Another benefit is, within two minutes, a reach stacker can lift Super Rack as well as reduce the lifting damage generated by swinging wires, which are required to lift flat track containers. As for the stacking benefits on-board a vessel, Super Rack provide improved storage flexibility by maximizing stowage space given that, there is no limit to the quantity capable of being stowed, there is no specially arranged area required, there is a stackable functionality built-in, and there is a more convenient transportation process when compared to a flat rack container.

The innovation of Super Rack benefit shippers significantly since the space saved decreases space expenses and increases freight revenue. Based on a 5,000 TEU vessel in long range service, the shipper is capable of shaving 40-45% off the operations costs the conventional flat rack container requires by reducing port stay costs, terminal costs, and bunker costs. As the market grows for shipping over-dimension cargos from port to port, Super Rack will definitely play an important role and become an important asset to shipping lines around the world.

Delta hopes to create improved time-saving, cost-effective, and economical models of transportation. Delta wishes Taiwan shipping companies, forwarding company, and shipper to endorse the use of Super Rack. Presently, Super Rack is used around the world by such shipping companies such as Hyundai, Hanjin Shipping, UASC, CMA-CGM, STX Pan Ocean, Sarjak, and Rickmers Line
